Dear Norman,

I love this time of year.

It is a time when Spirit seems to come alive. Whatever you call that sense of transcended energy, you can almost feel it in the air all around us. Even in the midst of utter and total chaos, a brief spark of remembering filters in, a soft whisper, a tender touch. Whether you see it as the energy of a loving God or the sense of community pulling together.

Stop and enjoy it ! Enjoy it all, the songs of the season, colorful decorations, sharing gifts or lighting the menorah lights. With friends or family or alone, there is a something that reminds us we are never really alone. It might be for only a brief moment, or it might carry with us for days or weeks. Whatever moves us, we are brought to deeply know the sense of Spirit and connectedness.

So from all of us at Quantum Leaders, we hope you celebrate the magic of the season, and wish you and yours all the love, peace and joy for a prosperous 2006.

Norman Wolfe

THOUGHT FOR THE MONTH

Go ahead and be ignorant, it only lasts for the length of time it takes for you to learn and grow.

“I get so frustrated. Every time he challenges my experience I get so angry, I can’t help but react. Yet I know better. I know I don’t have to react; I can just listen and respond. I feel I have no control over my own behavior. I wish there was a magic pill I could take.”

Haven’t we all had a similar experience at some point in time (probably more than one)? The issue is we think that once we gain an awareness of something, we expect our behaviors will naturally follow. That is not the case. And though there is no Magic Pill, there is a rather simple solution. Practice!
